Challenge

A specialty online retail store, The Fairy Light Shop offers a wide range of quality lights and lanterns to decorate both indoor and outdoor spaces. Director Belinda approached Voice with the goal of improving consumer awareness of their product offering, widening the opportunity for the brand and thereby increasing sales.

Once initial brand work was complete, Voice went to work to express the brand through online, developing an online store that worked strongly with search engines, as the first step. Followed quickly by great photography, promotional product ideas, social media and EDM expressions to ensure the new brand had a great start to its new digital life. The client also worked directly with our digital team to optimise and individualise ecommerce functions to suit their needs.

In 2013, The Fairy Light Shop expanded into the Australian market. Attracting attention in the busy Australian online market was key so a concise and effective Adwords campaign was activated, creating a no less than 2000% return, month on month, on ROI, for the client.

Plans are now afoot to work on search engine optimisation, to increase organic rankings of the site in Australia.
