Goodman owns, develops and manages quality industrial/commercial property nationally. Goodman approached Voice for their FY2018 annual report with a view to extending the commentary to include broader discussions of their sustainability practices, in keeping with the NZX’s updated Corporate Governance Code.
This shift in narration created a clear opportunity. Present Goodman’s focused and disciplined work with vibrancy, opening a newer, more contemporary discussion between the business and the crucial investor market. Goodman’s work in the industrial property sector is already world beating, independent assessment of their practises and materiality showed that. Agency’s job was simply to help Goodman articulate their data into compelling content that deeply informed the audience target and supported all elements of the brand.
To that end, via an iterative process and partnership, agency developed a robust tone and manner for the report. This included a bold new look, with fluorescent green as the hero, contemporary photography, iconography and graphics. An editorial approach was used to give the report a sense of ‘story’, highlighting how their key material factors were already well aligned with their priorities as a business.
The report was launched to NZX mid June 2018.
