As the national organisation for New Zealand’s grape and wine sector, New Zealand Winegrowers is pivotal to the outstanding growth and success of the New Zealand wine industry. New Zealand Winegrowers fulfils a wide range of important tasks for its 1600 members, which include advocacy to government, research into world-class viticulture and sustainability practices long with the development and implementation of a global marketing programme – bringing brand New Zealand Wine to the world.
The annual report communicates directly to the membership – the Chair recaps and shares his vision, each sector reports on their activities and initiatives and the extensive year-end industry statistics are recapped as KPI’s. The high proportion of statistical information calls for a pragmatic and pared back design approach. Voice used a palette of ‘wine’ colours, green through red, and created icons and info-graphics to deliver complex information with clarity and simplicity in an industry relevant way. The result is an Annual Report that is as fresh and upbeat as the wine industry itself. On top of the annual report, Voice and New Zealand Winegrowers also work together on their Sustainability report.
