Supporting the inspiration of Maori and Pasifika Youth
InZone Education Foundation is a registered charity that aims to inspire and support Maori and Pasifika youth in New Zealand by placing them in kainga (hostels) in the zones of high performing Auckland schools.
InZone partners with Auckland Boys Grammar and Epsom Girls Grammar to support these youth to achieve top educational outcomes so they can take their place in the cultural, economic and civic leadership of New Zealand – while being supported in a whanau (family) environment with Maori and Christian kaupapa (principles).
Voice has offered its support to InZone for 3 consecutive years around the promotion and execution of RAISE, InZone’s annual fundraising event. This year the event was held on 1 August at the Raye Freedman Arts Centre at Epsom Girls Grammar and raised over $80,000 for the charity in just over 3 hours.
This year, Voice was awarded an InZone taonga (highly prized object) in acknowledgement of our support.
